Important Class Information

Class Registration is Essential. A $20 Deposit is required when booking. Full payment for each class, including kits, must be paid 14 days before class is scheduled. Easy payment may be made over the phone via credit card, post a cheque or call in and see us. Don’t forget to obtain your requirement sheet and be sure you have all your equipment ready to start. Should classes be cancelled for any reason you will receive a full refund.

 

PFAFF & Husqvarna Viking Embroidery Machine Club

Membership is $85.00 per year. Join in bi-monthly workshops and learn how to make the most out of your embroidery machine. Membership entitles you to 10% discount on fabric, haby and machine accessories not already discounted. Cost of kits for workshops is extra.

Melanns Sewing Club

Membership is $65.00 per year. Join in monthly workshops and learn how to make the most out of your sewing machine or overlocker. Membership entitles you to 10% discount on fabric and haby not already discounted. Classes are held on a Monday morning or evening. Any brand of sewing machine or overlocker is welcome. Cost of kits for workshops is extra.

General Sewing Classes

Classes run for 2 hours each Wednesday morning or afternoon. We cater for beginners to more advanced sewers who are able to work on the project of their choice and at their own pace. BYO machine and project. See Planner for pricing.

Wednesday & Thursday evening, Saturday Morning Dressmaking Classes

Classes run for 2 ½ hours on Saturday morning. We cater for beginners to more advanced sewers who are able to work on the project of their choice and at their own pace. Classes are small so you are able to get lots of individual attention. BYO machine and see planner for pricing.

Basic Overlocking Class for all brands of Overlockers

Do you have trouble changing the settings on your overlocker? Become better friends with your overlocker by learning the basics of how it works and simple finishing techniques. Cost of the course is $85.00 including notes, threads and fabrics. .

Young Sewers Class

Classes are held every school holidays especially for the Young Sewers. In each class you will complete a different useful project and learn the
basics of construction and machine use. Suitable for Young Sewers aged 8 to 15. Cost is $39.00 which includes kit. Suitable for any brand of sewing machine.
