My name is Christina Kazis and I am pleased to introduce myself as the new owner of Melann’s Fabrics and Sewing Centre.
All the important things such as great workshops, friendly service and machine sales will continue at Melann’s as usual. Bernadette, Annette, Anne and Lorraine, the staff you have always trusted to give you the right advice are still the Melann’s team.
We have a great machine technician, Steve Green. Steve has been working with us for 2 years and has Pfaff and Husqvarna certification to service and repair your machine, including all warranty work. Steve also has a Mechanical Engineering degree which gives you absolute confidence he is more than capable of giving any brand of sewing machine or overlocker the best care.
I have worked hard to gain all the skills needed to take Melann’s into the future. Starting at Melann’s at the age of 14 , working after-school, sewing lessons on weekends, moving into part time work and learning to use all the machines and overlockers to completing a Bachelor of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Commercialisation at the Adelaide University –being able to share Melann’s Fabrics and Sewing Centre’s passion for all thing sewing has been my goal!
